Wizner Family - 1965
ALL FROM ONE FAMILY - "A typical Saginaw St. Mary Cathedral family" is Msgr. Eugene A. Forbes' tongue-in-cheek evaluation of these 10 Wizner children who are scattered from the first through the 12th grades at St. Mary school this year. Above Msgr. Forbes welcomes five-year-old first grader Marion on opening day. Others in order of age and height are John, 18 and Kathy 17, both seniors; Mary 16, a junior; David 15 a sophomore; Noreen 13, 8th grade; Ruth 11, 6th grade; Joseph 10, 5th grade; Nanette 9, 4th grade; and Cheryl 7, 2nd grade. Still at home are Christopher 4, Suzanne 3, and Michael, one month. The 13 are children of Mr. and Mrs. John Wizner, 1418 Crapo, Saginaw.
This picture was in the Catholic Weekly dated 9/10/65 and the Detroit Free Press dated 9/18/65.

My father's name wasn't Joseph, it was John Wizner. We love looking at this old photo and remembering those happy days.
My Dad, brothers John (class of '66) and David (class of 68) have since passed on. They live on in these memories and in our hearts.
