PTA Founders Day Banquet - 1968

Exciting Update!

Anthony Grunwell (In YouTube as Anthony Runwell) found a cassette tape at a thrift shop in Bay City.  It was just after Fr. Leo Lynch and Fr. Aloysius Lacki formed the group, New Image.  They played at the Centennial Celebration at St. Mary Cathedral's Founder's Day Celebration. Anthony spent considerable time digitizing it and putting all 19 tracks on YouTube.  Thank you so much for sharing this with us, Anthony!

Enjoy

Menu - Buffet Style - Baked Ham, Escalloped Potatoes, Potato Salad, Green Beans, Tossed Salad, Rolls and Butter, Cake, Coffee

A Centennial Year gives pause to thing of "time" and what it is all about...
With this in mind, we quote from "What Makes People Successful" ...

Take Time

Take time to think ...
it is the source of power.
Take time to play ...
it is the secret of perpetual growth.
Take time to read ...
it is the fountain of wisdom.
Take time to pray ...
it is the greatest power on earth.
Take time to love and be loved ...
it is a God-given privilege.
Take time to be friendly ...
it is the road to happiness.
Take time to laugh ...
it is the music of the soul.
Take time to give ...
it is too short a day to be selfish.
Take time to work ...
it is the price of success.
